It's Bilateral Implant time!
Gavin will be going to surgery for the bilateral cochlear implant on the 8th of July! We are very excited! Woo hoo!

Great to hear you've got Gavin's surgery scheduled!!
Unfortunately a 2nd CI is not available in the UK for over 19's. I will wait for my next appointment because it might for working better for me then I think it actually is.
When I wear only my implant I can still hear a lot but it is a bit quiet. With both my HA and CI the sounds are just a tiny bit louder. I dont like to not wear my HA since I'v always had a HA in that ear.
