Gavin Escapes From Nursery!! And More!!

Sept 12 we when back to the Audiologist who is 2 hrs away! We bought Gavin back for his second appt which is a week apart from the 1st appt. The third appt is Oct 10Th! Gavin is doing really well he hears me when I talk quieter to him which is quite different cause I feel like I'm always talking really loud to him. He is doing Awesome with his new implant!!!

The last two weeks at Church have been quite a little adventure for Gavin and I. Last week not yesterday Gavin crawl under the seats I'm listening to this lady in the ward bare her testimony and was really learning from her example. I didn't even notice Gavin had left. But all the sudden I see Gavin he is up behind the bishop and is turning off the lights in Sacrament. So embarrassing I was shock and The chorister bought Gavin back down to me. I told the lady sitting next to me that I didn't know Gavin lol!! She laughed!!

Yesterday Gavin escaped from Nursery! I went to pick him up and he wasn't there! Nursery had 25 kids yesterday. That is alot of kids to try and keep track of. We found Gavin down the hall with a sipper cup and he was fine. The Bishop comes up to me and Says Oh Good you found Gavin. I didn't even know the bishop knew Gavin was missing. Anyway Gavin was ok and I keep wondering is something else going to happen next week at Church!! Cause Gavin is on a ROLL!!

Hi Heather! How fun is this?! I am glad you found our Blog. I thought Gavin was SO cute when I met him at the Ice Cream Social. I think it was amazing with how well he did with his implant! I am so happy for him and I know he'll continue to do so well! I'll add you on my friends list. Josh and I would love to know what you guys are up to!

Gavin is sooo cute! And, I'm so glad he is doing so well with his implant. We had our first three children in Utah, and the last here in Washington. We have many happy memories from the state. I've always said how happy I was that we were 'transplanted' there. It was an amazing place to have a deaf/HOH child (great AVT resources, etc.), and everyone was so welcoming, despite the fact that we were not LDS :) All of our neighbors greeted us w/ cobbler, candles, meals, etc. I miss the 'home-town' friendliness.

I am so excited for you guys and all of Gavin's progress. My eldes son escaped during sacrament one time and went straight for the pulpit!! Luckily our good friend was giving the talk so he didn't seem to mind. I just about died!! Oh, and I am blown away that you held a snake. There is absolutely NO WAY I could do it!
